Sonya Sukhorukova – Vocalist, Artist & Vocal Coach Sonya Sukhorukova (stage name SuperSonya) is a professional vocalist, recording artist, and vocal coach with extensive experience on stage and in the studio.
Stage & Mentorship Experience
Sonya first rose to national fame through popular Ukrainian TV shows, placing 3rd in Star Factory (2011) and becoming a finalist on The Voice Ukraine (2013) under the mentorship of Sviatoslav Vakarchuk. Her performance so impressed Vakarchuk that he invited her to sing with his band Okean Elzy in a live stadium concert. These high-profile experiences provided Sonya with invaluable skills in stage performance, microphone technique, and vocal expression — all of which she now brings into her teaching practice. Recording Artist & International Recognition From 2014 to 2019, Sonya was the lead vocalist of the English-language electronic band The Erised, signed to the UK-based Med School Music (a sub-label of Hospital Records). Their debut single “Pray” gained over 1 million plays on Spotify. The group toured internationally, released a full album (Room 414), and was praised by critics — even catching the attention of Selena Gomez’s management team. This period shaped her deep understanding of studio work, vocal production, and English-language performance — essential tools she now passes on to her students.
Solo Career & Artistic Development
Parallel to her work with the band, Sonya launched a solo career — first as Sonya, later rebranding as SuperSonya. Under the guidance of producer Artik (of Artik & Asti), she released numerous singles, music videos, and collaborations with well-known artists. Her debut EP Fialka (2020) showcases her unique sound and emotional depth, blending electronic pop with cinematic storytelling.
Sonya is not just a performer — she’s a dedicated vocal coach who knows how to bring out the best in your voice.
As a Vocal Coach Sonya teaches voice through the lens of a true performer and producer. Her coaching style blends: real-life performance experience (concerts, competitions, tours), professional studio training (recording, vocal layering, production), emotional expressiveness and stage artistry, an academic foundation in vocal technique and anatomy. She works with both beginners and advanced singers, helping them find their authentic voice, build confidence, and develop as artists.
